At the 2006 Annual Spring Workshop
held at Manteo Resort in Kelowna, the Ted Allingham
Scholarship Trust Fund, established in 2006 was
presented to Ms. Allison Neil.

The 2006 Tom and Rose
Carter Scholarship Award was presented to Mr. Matt
Rykers at the Spring Workshop. Congratulations to both Matt
and Allison on their achievements in the Water Industry.

At the 2005 AGM Banquet in Nelson,
B.C. Stuart Mould received the prestigious
'Lifetime Membership Award', given for his many years
of service not only in the water industry, but to the Water
Supply Association as past Chairman and Director.
Steve Babakaiff from
Sion Improvement District received a 'Service Award'
for his never ending dedication to the Water Supply
Association for many years. (

The 2005 Tom and Rose Carter
Scholarship Award was presented to Mr. Dillon
Bucknell at our 2005 Spring Workshop held this past April
at the Best Western Inn in Kelowna. Congratulations to Dillon
on his outstanding achievement in the Water Quality Technology
Program, where he is enrolled in the second year of the

Bill Newman from Rutland
Waterworks District is shown receiving the Brian
Harvey Award at the awards banquet at Sun Peaks Resort
in 2004.
The above award was established in 2002 as a tribute to
Brian Harvey after he retired from the Association as
Secretary-Treasurer. The award was presented in 2003 to
South East Kelowna Irrigation District and in 2002 to
Black Mountain Irrigation District for their
dedication to the Association and their achievements in the

At the 2004 Annual General Meeting
held at Sun Peaks Resort there were three recipients of a
Service Award. They were Ernie Nacka from
Westburne Wolsley BC Waterworks, Phil Ruskowsky who
retired from Black Mountain Irrigation District, and Randy
Engman, from Okanagan University College. All of these
individuals were recognized for their outstanding service to
the water industry.
